Vaduz → Montreux

A gentle 13.8 km stage over the Hahnenmoospass. You arrive in Lenk, where, according to a legend, the village women left on their own chased off thieves from the Valais. With their tools! On the shady slopes, the rusty-leaved alpenrose forms purple-pink heaths in summer. It loves snow: each to their own.

Montreux → Vaduz

From Lenk to Adelboden, 4 h 45 min of walking, no need to hurry. If someone tells you how the women of Lenk sent cattle thieves running, smile: it's a legend, but it has character. On the shady slopes, look out for heaths of rusty-leaved alpenrose, and don't pick it. Adelboden is waiting on the other side.
