Along the way
- Eiger North Face This famous wall towers over the path up to the Kleine Scheidegg. Four climbers, two Germans and two Austrians, first climbed it in July 1938.
- Staubbach Falls In Lauterbrunnen, the Staubbach drops 297 m into the valley. Goethe drew a poem from it, "Song of the Spirits over the Waters".
